Kumbhalgarh Fort is a 15th-century fort and birthplace of the Great Ruler of Mewar, Maharana Pratap. Located around 85 km from Udaipur, the fort has a long 32 km wall which is built on a hill and has hence survived many attacks from rulers. There is a wildlife sanctuary also situated around the fort. The Ranakpur Jain temple is contemporary to the Kumbhalgarh fort. The white marble Jain temple occupies an area of 60x62 meters along with a platform based on 1444 pillars.
