2. Sambhar Lake

Featured in innumerable Bollywood films and fashion shoots, India’s largest saltwater inland lake is very picturesque. Imagine posing in a vast expanse of desert soil and salt, with the immemorial Aravalli range surrounding you from all sides. Not only is it romantic but also rustic. Besides, there is a privilege of uninterrupted shoot time here. The elliptical vastness of 24,000 hectares under the sky is like a photographer’s playground.

3. Jaisamand Lake

Also known as Dhebar Lake, this is India’s first and world’s second largest artificial sweet water lake. Nestled a few kilometres from the city of Udaipur, Jaisamand lake is one of the most quaint locales for a pre-wedding shoot. There are several islands on this man-made lake, cenotaphs, palaces and even a marble dam as well as a wildlife sanctuary. Steeped in history, this is the ideal place for rich and colourful shots. 4. Sam Sand Dunes
