We are hosting a hands-on Solar Astronomy Workshop designed for curious minds of all ages. From capturing shadows to tasting the power of the sun, it’s going to be a bright afternoon.

What’s on the Agenda?

1. Cyanograph Art: "Painting with Light" We’ll kick things off by creating beautiful, Prussian-blue photographs. Using specialized Sun Print paper, you’ll use the UV rays to capture the delicate silhouettes of flowers, leaves, or your favorite trinkets.

2. Solar Telescopes: Spotting the "Dark Side" Safely peer through our specialized telescopes to observe Sunspots—cooler, magnetic regions on the Sun's surface. It’s a rare chance to see our star up close without the squinting!

3. Solar Cooking: Sun-Baked Snacks Science you can taste! If the sky stays clear, we’ll be harnessing the Sun's energy to cook up some light snacks using a Solar Cooker. Witness the incredible thermal power of sunlight in action.
