The imposing Mehrangarh Fort looms majestically over the city, offering stunning panoramic views and a peek into its rich history. As part of this outing, you will get to see some historically enriching places in and around Jodhpur: 

**Mehrangarh Fort** 

The magnificent Mehrangarh Fort is situated on a small hill in Jodhpur. It was constructed by Rao Jodha, the then chief of the Rathore clan in 1459\. The fort has several palaces, galleries, and temples.

**Umaid Bhavan Palace** The Umaid Bhavan palace was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh in the 20th century. A part of it has now been converted into a hotel and a museum.

**Jaswant Thada** 

Jaswant Thada lies adjacent to the Mehrangarh fort. It is a royal cenotaph made of marble and was built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh. Some rare portraits of the former rulers of Jodhpur are also displayed here. 

**Clock tower market** 

This is the perfect place to experience the culture of the blue city.
