The Last Vinyl Store in Mumbai

In the middle of Chor Bazaar's beautiful chaos Haji Ebrahim record Store on Saifee Jubilee street has been here for over 50 years. Today it's run by Asif, the younger brother of the late Haji Ebrahim, who spends his days picking through crates or simply sitting behind the counter, letting a record play out to its end before flipping it.The shop opens at 10am daily, closes at 8pm — 5pm on Sundays. Go without a shopping list. Let whatever's playing when you walk in tell you what to buy.
