# "Queen of the Jungle" - Van Rani toy train

The Van Rani Toy Train at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) officially reopened on March 14, 2026, after a nearly five-year hiatus caused by Cyclone Tauktae damage. The Route a scenic 2.7 km track through Krishnagiri Upavan, passing through biodiversity spots and artificial tunnels. Timings: The train operates from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM. Operational Days: Open Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays). Ticket Costs: Adults: ₹98 per ride. Children (5–12 yrs): ₹37 per ride.
