Rajasthan's growth in energy and utilities sector

Rajasthan is pushing for self-sufficiency in power. A new government initiative will provide 150 units of free electricity to over 1 crore households through a combination of rooftop and community solar systems. This move is part of the larger 'PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana'. The state has also announced a plan to provide daytime electricity for farmers in all districts by 2027.
