Shalby Hospital, Jaipur, has achieved a medical milestone by successfully performing the world’s first haploidentical bone marrow transplant (BMT) on a 5-year-old child. Master Ambass from Wasit, Iraq, was diagnosed with a rare immunodeficiency disorder. This groundbreaking procedure marks a major advancement in pediatric hematology and immunology, as no documented cases of haploidentical BMT had been performed at such a young age before. Source: DB
