Rajasthan’s Poonam Kanwar Scales Africa's Highest Peak, Kilimanjaro

Poonam Kanwar from Rajasthan has conquered Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, proudly hoisting the Indian Tricolor and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) flag. She is the first woman mountaineer from the RPF to achieve this feat. Currently serving as a constable in the 16th Battalion of the Railway Protection Special Force in Asansol, West Bengal, Poonam's accomplishment is a moment of pride for India and the RPF. Source: DB
