Rajasthan Sets World Record with Over 1.46 Crore Saplings Planted in 12 Hours

Rajasthan has set a world record for tree plantation on the occasion of Hariyali Teej under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign. In just 12 hours, 98,86,471 people across the state planted a total of 1,46,89,809 saplings. This incredible achievement has been recognized by the World Book of Records, London, which has officially recorded the feat and awarded a certificate. The plantation drive was initiated by the Education and Panchayati Raj departments. Source: DB
