# Young Jaipur Boy Becomes Rajasthan's Youngest Internationally Rated Chess Player

6-year-old Adwik Sharma from Jaipur has become the youngest internationally rated chess player in Rajasthan. Even though he's only in first grade, Adwik has made a big impact in the chess world. The International Chess Federation recently published his international rating online. Adwik started playing chess just a year ago but has already participated in 10 international matches. He travels 120 kilometers every week from Ajmer to Jaipur to improve his skills. Source: DB
