Unveiling Mangarh Dham: A Sacred Tale of Courage and Resistance

 

In 2022, before the Gujarat elections, Prime Minister Modi graced this sacred land with his presence, and more recently, in the lead-up to the Rajasthan elections, Rahul Gandhi convened a meeting on World Tribal Day.

This sacred ground holds a somber history, often referred to as the "Adivasi Jallianwala." In 1913, six years before the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, British forces took the lives of hundreds of Bhil tribals in the Mangarh hills, marking a tragic chapter in our nation's history.

 

 

During his visit in 2022, Prime Minister Modi declared Mangarh Dham a National Monument, highlighting its enduring significance as a beacon of the tribal community's spirit and sacrifices. This proclamation cemented its place in our cultural and political landscape.
