Diya Kumari: A Visionary Leader Making a Difference

 

Meet Diya Kumari: A dedicated leader and representative from Vidhyadhar Nagar (50), Jaipur!
Diya Kumari, a 52-year-old candidate nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for Vidhyadhar Nagar (50) in Jaipur, has an impressive educational background. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and is a graduate in Fine Arts, specializing in Decorative Arts. Notably, she is also known as the princess of Jaipur.

 

 

Currently, Diya Kumari serves as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, representing Rajsamand. In the past, she held the position of Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the BJP in Sawai Madhopur from 2013 to 2018. During her tenure as an MLA, she actively participated in the Rajasthan Assembly by raising 48 questions on various issues.

 

 

Two of the questions she asked were as follows:

 

Higher Education: She inquired whether the Minister of Higher Education could provide information regarding the government's intentions to introduce new subjects in the colleges within the Sawai Madhopur legislative assembly area for the fiscal year 2017-18. Furthermore, she sought clarification on the specific subjects that were planned for introduction.

 

Tourism: Diya Kumari also sought information from the State Minister for Tourism regarding the approval status of a State Hotel Management Institute in Sawai Madhopur district, in accordance with the budget announcement. She was interested in knowing the expected timeline for the completion of its construction and when the admission process for students would commence.
